Ok, we didn't really make the Album, but we did help make it look good! We've been busy (mainly our interns Dan, Ryan and Mitz) for the past 6 weeks making the wooden boxes for the new "STARS" 7" limited editon boxset, we just saw the finished piece today and they are awesome, each set comes with 6 multi coloured 7" vinyl discs of all tracks on "The Five Ghosts" album plus one bonus track, "Asleep" as well as 13 photo inserts (8" x 8") of the album artwork and lyrics, a digital download card and it's all packaged in a handcrafted wood box (we did this part)........you can get yours here

We've just launched a new clock, Quoting Bobby from Kitsune Noir on our second release from the Neverend clock series, "This is by far one of the most amazing clocks I’ve ever seen, but amazing in a different way from our first edition with Dan Funderburgh. The Montreal 60 Second Film Festival and the band, RECEIVERS, are teaming up to create a one of a kind music and film event. Holiday Matinee is awesome. Holiday Matinee has devoted 10 years to promoting creativity. They are now hitting the road to spread the optimism with a new project, Creativity On Wheels. Each clock is hand made out of wood that comes from their friend Jason Frenette's 200 year old barn in the Swiss Alps, Once the clock were finished, Skateboard Artist, Don Pendleton painted some of his stylistic signature art on them for a one of a kind look. We did this awesome installation for our good friends at Rita design studio as part of the "Canada Blooms" homeshow in Toronto, March 2009. The booth is for the client "Jardin des Metis/Reford Gardens" and is to promote their annual garden/show and festival. It took us three weeks to build, used close to 100 4' x 8' sheets of wood and I was trampled by kids after the show was opened, but it was well worth it.

the fine folks over at lifetime are doing a campaign with the Keep a Breast foundation called "Breast Friends 4 Life" and I'm one of the 28 invited artists. This was an honour and a serious challenge for me as I (a) do not consider myself and artist and (b) not used to working outside of a computer or woodshop. All in all I am quite happy with what I came up with...in case you didn't know the shape of the piece is an actual life cast of a female upper body, I was given it merely as a white plaster mold...mine is called "A friend in need is a friend indeed"

Etnies and Color Magazine asked skaters to shoot a photo of themselves from their own perspective, skateboarding. Over 200 portraits have been collected from skaters across Canada, the United States and as far as Japan. With the help of Fourstar Clothing, a selection of these self portraits of pro skateboarders, artists, and other talented individuals have been composed into an exhibition in celebration of skateboarding.

Come on out and check out the show and take a look at the special edition cigar boxes we created for the show to house a couple magazines, T-shirt and wheels all to celebrate this killer show!

If you've checked out the product line and have a vague recollection of Skateboarding in the mid 1980's you've probably recognized some of the names of the collection (Alba, Gator,Templeton, Lee etc) The "FARMER" watch we just launched with coolhunting is a little more obscure. When we decided to do a white watch I was looking for a name to connect with the theme, remembering back to professional snowboarder Shawn Farmer's part in the 1991 snowboard movie "Critical Condition" I decided I'd bend the rules a bit and add some old school snowboarders names to the lineup. Based on the rapping that Shawn Farmer does in the video I am confident that he's the whitest boy alive, hence the tie in with the watch! Quoting the man himself "We do it my way, This is my Resume, We do it my way what did I say?". (Of Special Note: Hot-tub scene with no women in sight)

The premiere issue of corduroy magazine is out and let me tell you it was worth waiting around for...a couple months back we were lucky enough to have a nice little interview with them and when I got my hands on the printed version last night I was very impressed!!! Dwell magazine is at the forefront of reporting and showcasing clean, stylish, modern design, heck there slogan is "at home in a modern world" and that is why we love them. Our "alba" clock was fortunate enough to make it into this months issue (July/August 2007) and we couldn't be happier. The fact that there is a dude on a BMX and a muscle car in the driveway of the home featured on the cover is just icing on the cake!!
